eksec started with a simple observation โ the Indian-American community is full of incredible makers, cooks, artisans, and entrepreneurs, and they deserved a home.
Our Story
Every weekend, community center parking lots fill up with folding tables โ aunties selling their famous biryani, uncles showing off handwoven shawls, students tutoring in Hindi and math. The talent and craft has always been there. What was missing was the connection.
Facebook groups became makeshift marketplaces. WhatsApp threads turned into product catalogs. People were doing what they could, but the tools were never designed for this kind of community-first commerce. Items got buried in feeds. Strangers couldn't find local sellers. Trust was hard to establish with someone you'd never met.
So we built eksec. Not a corporation. Not a VC-funded startup chasing growth metrics. A community marketplace, designed from the ground up for the way Indian-Americans actually buy and sell โ locally, personally, and with trust.
The name is simple: ek means "one" in Hindi. One place. One community. One second to discover something special. eksec is that place.

eksec will always be free to list. We believe access to a marketplace should not have a price tag, especially for small home-based sellers who are just starting out.
We are committed to keeping the platform safe, respectful, and community-focused. We review reports, moderate content, and actively work to remove listings that don't belong here.
